St. Louis, MO, April 5, 2011 – Hexagrid, a leading developer of cloud enablement solutions, announced today that its state-of-the-art VxDatacenter cloud platform will be showcased at the Gateway to Innovation (G2I) Conference taking place today at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, Mo.
The G2I conference highlights and promotes technology innovation within the St. Louis business community by connecting local high-tech visionaries with national technology investors and business executives. Headquartered in St. Louis since its founding in 2008, Hexagrid is considered a pioneer in the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing industry—a great match for the G2I event.
“This is the first year we’ve participated in the G2I conference,” says Joe Seibel, CFA, CFO and VP of Strategic Development. “We’ve heard great things from our local clients and technology partners, and we look forward to networking with other industry thought leaders who share our interest in technology innovation.”
Cloud computing exists at the forefront of technology modernization, widely accepted as the obvious path toward IT efficiency. According to Suresh Mandava, CEO and Founder of Hexagrid, “we believe that technology should simplify IT delivery through functional, implementable solutions that save time and money. With that focus, we developed VxDatacenter to make the dream of cloud efficiency a realistic business strategy.”
Worldwide, VxDatacenter has enabled telecommunications, healthcare, financial, and data center services companies to launch customized IaaS clouds that meet their specific business needs. In the St. Louis Region, the VxDatacenter cloud platform has been adopted by organizations ranging from small healthcare businesses to large IT service providers and multiple universities.
Hexagrid recently partnered with ITenterprises at the University of Missouri–St. Louis by donating VxDatcenter licensing and support for the delivery cloud computing services to innovative startups housed at the ITenterprises incubator. “The G2I conference is a terrific local medium to showcase VxDatacenter as an innovation opportunity for existing businesses and a springboard opportunity for innovative technology start-ups,” says Seibel. |
